Ceiling Attached Shower Curtain Rods

Ceiling Attached Shower Curtain Rods If you’re tired of cheap wooden rods being used to hold up your shower curtains, it might be time to try installing a ceiling track curtain rod. There are a lot of reasons to get a ceiling track for hanging your curtain on. To install one, there is a way to use a hack saw to input the track.  Ceiling tracks come in many different shapes.  For ceiling tracks, because they can be any shape, the most popular track shapes are the l-shape, the oval shape, the neo-angle, and a few other shape variations.

The rod is screwed directly into the drywall anchors.  You don’t actually need to attach them to the studs because the curtain is not heavy enough to break the drywall when spread through the drywall.  Specific installation instructions come with the packages you order and are tuned specifically to that package. Usually, these packages come with roller carriers with hooks on them to attach the shower curtain to it, the ceiling shower rod set to the specific dimensions for your bathroom.  There are also end caps, screws, drywall anchors, and connectors if the track attaches in sections.

If you have a unique tub type or shower, having a ceiling attached shower curtain can be a great way to get around problems that you’ve had with other curtain holders.  Because you have hooks attaching your shower curtain as opposed to the standard rings, you can get various types of shower curtains that are catered to the shower you have. Unlike the ring attachments, the hooks are often easier to deal with because you don’t have to make a mess every time you want to get your shower curtain down. Taking down the standard straight edge poles is often quite a messy process, and taking the curtain off the hooks is easier.
