Once upon a time standard lamps and table lamps and the odd candelabra were all people had to create ambience in a room. But with the invention of flush mount ceiling light fixtures, interior lighting has been revolutionized. In fact, there isn’t a room that would benefit hugely from the installation of flush mount ceiling lights.
The use of track lighting showed designers just how effective light from a number of low voltage lights can be. The effect was a much more natural daylight effect. Something that single pendant ceiling lights, positioned in the centre of a room, could never achieve. Rooms with low ceilings though, needed this effect to make them seem larger, but there wasn’t enough head room to install a track. With the invention of flush and semi flush mounted ceiling lights the bright spacious look for the small room became a reality.
Bathroom Lighting
Ultra recessed flush mount ceiling lights have made the ugly frosted glass ceiling light a thing of the past. Now you can have a bright ambient light that doesn’t have the appeal of a single naked bulb. You can relax in the bath in comfort without having to use candles for a relaxed look. You can also hunt in the shower for the soap with a flush mount light safely installed above you.
Living Space lighting
table and standard lamps were the only for ambient lighting in the home. Still a great option, these can be used alongside good recessed lighting to create mood and a practical level of light to read or relax by. Semi flush mount ceiling lights wash the walls of a living area in soft light, creating an uplifting and spacious effect. If you want drama, small flush mount ceiling lights punctuating the dining room wall with light panels are very effective. Alternatively, a flush mount ceiling light directed on to your favourite piece of living room or bedroom furniture creates a focal point in your living room or bedroom.
With the range of uses and styles of lighting, flush mount ceiling lights are here to stay. They are timeless and will never date a room, so they make a sound investment in anyone’s home.
